I fell in love with Austin, TX, when I visited a few months ago — partly because the ridiculously hip city produces great bands like Spoon. The veteran indie rockers recently dropped a brand new single, “Got Nuffin,” a straightforward, stripped-down serenade for a potential long-term paramour. It’s the lead track from Spoon’s brief new EP, out now on Merge Records. The band is also gearing up for a 3-night stint at Stubb’s, July 9-11, in their amazing hometown. Wish I could be there!
