Sad and Happy!!

This is the Sad part of my post: Yep, you guessed it! UK lost to LSU, 67-58. End of story for me. I will post the SEC Champs when it is over. Blah, blah, blah…boo hoo! If we end up in the NIT, it will be the first time since 1979. 
Now, the Happy! UL defeated Villanova after trailing by 8 at the half. They turned the game around to come out with a victory of 69-55. Way to go Cards! Tonight they play the Big Orange, Syracuse, for the Big East Championship. Let’s keep from having an overtime with the Big Orange. They seem to come out with wins when this happens. Go Cards!!

Yep, it was a bittersweet day. Sorry Cat fans. But, you never know maybe UK will make the NCAA tournament. Keep hope aliiiiive!
The Cards had me worried there the first half. But it looks like Pitino gave them an good ol’ NY style @ss whopping in the locker room at half time, because they came back strong and ready to play some REAL bball. Congrats Cards. I just hope the many, many … many OTs that Syracuse played the last few days will FINALLY catch up with them and UofL can breeze by them.
